Philippines real estate giant Robinsons Land Corporation reported an 11% increase in consolidated revenues to Php12.3 billion (US$202 million) in 1Q26, with growth in its investment portfolio driven by the Hotels segment and particularly those hotels located at NUSTAR Resort Cebu.
The company said Monday that its investment portfolio, which comprised 75% of group-wide revenues and 85% of EBITDA for the period, remained solid across the table with revenue up 8% year-on-year to Php9.2 billion (US$151 million) and EBITDA by 4% to Php5.6 billion (US$91.8 million).
Within this segment, RLC explained that Hotels delivered the strongest growth, with revenues up 14% to Php1.7 billion (US$27.9 million) and EBITDA rising 10% to Php537 million (US$8.8 million), “driven by strong performance from international brands and NUSTAR’s hotels.”
Malls and offices also produced positive results.
In announcing its 1Q26 results, RLC explained that its current strength is the direct result of foresight embedded in “Vision 5:25:50” – a roadmap that pivoted the company toward a more investment-driven, recurring- income model well ahead of market shifts.
By actively monetizing, assets and maintaining a principled balance sheet, RLC said it has secured a resilient liquidity profile despite macroeconomic headwinds with total assets growing to Php286.4 billion (US$4.7 billion) and cash reserves reaching Php21.7 billion (US$356 million).
“Our performance is a validation of being intentional early on, transitioning our portfolio towards more recurring income and building deep cash reserves establishing a robust financial cushion as a cornerstone of our risk management strategy,” said RLC President and CEO, Mybelle V. Aragon GoBio.
“RLC remains steadfast in its ability to sustain earnings momentum, backed by a diversified, high-quality portfolio and an enduring commitment to financial discipline.”
