After a long six-year wait, the Aussie Millions finally returns today with the Opening Event kicking off just after midday local Australian time.
Taking place in an all-new poker room at Crown Melbourne, the 2026 Aussie Millions Poker Championship boasts an 18-event schedule across 17 days from 24 April to 10 May, culminating with the $10,600 Main Event from 4 to 10 May.
Aside from the $1,500 Opening Event with its guaranteed $1 million prize pool, other standout events include the $5K 6-max from Monday 27 April, the $1,500 Mystery Bounty from Tuesday 28 April and the $25K Challenge, which kicks off on Sunday 3 May.
The 2026 Aussie Millions promises to be a star-studded fare, with Crown having previously announced defending WSOP Main Event Champion Michael Mizrachi, Australia’s 2005 WSOP champ Joe Hachem and another Australian Poker Hall of Fame inductee in Van Marcus as ambassadors.
There will also be plenty of celebrity additions to the field – none bigger than NBA star Josh Giddey who confirmed his attendance earlier this week.
