Australian racing and wagering giant Tabcorp Holdings Limited said Tuesday it had successfully completed the extension of its existing AU$980 million (US$693 million) syndicated term loan facility, with the new deal providing improved pricing terms.
According to a filing, the extension sees the maturity date of Tranche B of the facility, totaling AU$550 million (US$389 million), extended from 31 July 2027 to 14 June 2029. Tabcorp has also extended the maturity date of Tranche A, totaling AU$430 million (US$304 million), from 14 June 2029 to 14 October 2031.
Coupled with Tabcorp’s US Private Placement (USPP) and Australian Medium Term Note (AMTN) debt, this increases Tabcorp’s average debt maturity from 3.2 years to 4.4 years, the company explained.
“This extension, along with our USPP and AMTN, reinforces the strength of our balance sheet and provides further flexibility as we progress our strategic priorities,” said Tabcorp’s Chief Financial Officer, Mark Howell.
The company reported in February a 1.0% increase in group-wide revenues to AU$1.34 billion (US$952 million) and a 14.3% increase in Group EBITDA to AU$217.4 million (US$154 million) in the six months to 31 December 2025, citing the positive impact of its Victorian Wagering and Betting License and better cost controls.
