Philippines gaming technology firm PhilWeb Corp has reported net income of Php47 million (US$767,000) in the three months to 30 June 2026, up 237% quarter-on-quarter thanks to significant growth in its online gaming platform solution.

Traditionally an operator of e-Games outlets, PhilWeb has recently transitioned into the platform space following a change of control and now runs the online gaming platforms of land-based IR operators Hann Resorts, Okada Manila, NUSTAR and Newport World Resorts. It also supports PT Gaming and FBM Philippines.

Releasing its Q2 results on Tuesday, PhilWeb revealed a 96% year-on-year and 51% quarter-on-quarter increase in total revenue to Php352.4 million (US$5.8 million), of which its proprietary interactive platform solution generated Php200.3 million (US$3.3 million), up 152% quarter-on-quarter.

EBITDA reached Php51.5 million (US$840,590), representing an 886% year-on-year and a 119% quarter-on-quarter increase. Margin also expanded from 10% in the first quarter to 15% in Q2.

“The rapid sequential growth and margin expansion in the second quarter validate the massive operating leverage of our digital gaming solutions segment,” said President Brian Ng.

“By empowering tier-one licensed operators and global content providers, we are establishing a comprehensive, regulatory-compliant digital ecosystem that drives long-term commercial value.”

For the first six months of 2026, PhilWeb’s total revenue amounted Php585.4 million (US$9.6 million), up 63%, with net income of Php61 million (US$995,650).

In the same results release, PhilWeb pointed to the recent election of businessman Lance Gokongwei to the company’s Board of Directors as helping accelerate technology execution and AI infrastructure deployment across the group.

“With a cleaner operating baseline and strengthened capitalization, PhilWeb is now focused on scaling its B2B AI-enabled infrastructure across the company’s regulated digital ecosystem,” it said. “This AI initiative will strengthen three core operational priorities: fraud detection, regulatory compliance and customer service efficiency. Together, these capabilities position PhilWeb as a technology leader in the region’s regulated digital platform industry.”
