Philippines’ gaming technology firm PhilWeb Corporation has become the latest to confirm receipt of accreditation under regulator PAGCOR’s new framework for gaming affiliates and support service providers.
In a filing, PhilWeb said the accreditation enables it to provide technology and operational services to licensed gaming operators within PAGCOR’s regulated system while reflects the company’s established capabilities in platform technology, system integration and operational support.
As reported by Inside Asian Gaming, all industry suppliers must by 1 April 2026 – this coming Wednesday – become fully accredited by PAGCOR or risk being declared illegal and shut down.
PhilWeb said it has demonstrated its capabilities via recently announced partnerships with integrated resorts Hann Casino Resort and Okada Manila where it supports their regulated online gaming platforms through platform operations, system integration and infrastructure services.
At the infrastructure level, PhilWeb said a collaboration with FBM Philippines highlights its ability to deploy scalable platform solutions across a nationwide network of gaming venues, reinforcing its capability to support large-scale and distributed operations.
The company also revealed it is, alongside regulators and other stakeholders, actively participating in industry technical working discussions around new regulations that will govern the Philippines’ eGames industry. By doing so, it aims to contribute to the development of evolving standards aimed at strengthening transparency, consumer protection and overall industry governance.
“This is a pivotal stage for the industry as it moves toward a more structured and transparent framework,” said Brian Ng, President of PhilWeb Corporation. “We are committed to supporting this transition by delivering reliable and scalable technology solutions, while actively engaging with stakeholders to help strengthen the overall ecosystem.”
