Global Gaming significantly strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Mark Wadsworth to support the company’s recent expansion in Malta.
Wadsworth joins as Director of the Group’s companies in Malta, where he will spearhead two new major development projects.
He joins Global Gaming from Betsson, where he previously held the position of head of platform, working across 25 different casino brands with a team of ten product owners.
The former Betsson employee entered the gaming industry over ten years ago, setting up The Game Factory in Malta where he helped to build its gaming platform from the ground up, using open-source technology and producing over 40 Flash-based games.
Using the same platform, he went on to develop the first ever live in-play lottery product at Contagious Gaming, which sees lottery numbers selected by the time a goal is scored in a football match.
Wadsworth, who started his new role this month, said, “I’m very excited to be joining Global Gaming, a company which places innovation at the heart of its operations.
