The AGEM Index continued its recent momentum to record an all-time high of 1,005.20 points in June 2021, driven by strong stock price increases from Inspired Entertainment and Scientific Games.

The AGEM Index, compiled by the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), is a monthly stock performance guide comprising 13 global gaming suppliers. It is calculated based on the month-end stock price of each company and weighted based on approximation of market capitalization.

June saw seven of the 13 member companies record increases in stock price, led by Inspired which saw its price grow 11.3% to US$12.75. The stock was responsible for 13.84 points of the AGEM Index’s monthly growth.

Scientific Games was also strong, contributing 9.59 points on the back of a 6.8% increase in stock price from US$72.54 to US$77.44.

The AGEM Index ultimately grew by 2.6% compared with May.

The major stock indices reported mixed performances, with NASDAQ and the S&P 500 up by 5.5% and 2.2% respectively while the Dow Jones Industrial Average experienced a 0.1% decline.
