Hotel Okura Manila at Newport World Resorts (NWR) has established itself among a select group of elite Philippines hotels after earning one MICHELIN Key for 2026.
First introduced in 2024, the MICHELIN Key rating system is designed to define excellence within the hospitality industry, with select the very best hotels awarded One, Two or Three MICHELIN Keys according to the level of experience they offer.
Hotel Okura Manila is one of nine hotels in the Philippines awarded at least one MICHELIN Key this year, marking another milestone in NWR’s broader push to strengthen its position as a destination for globally recognized hospitality and dining experiences.
NUSTAR Hotel Cebu is also among the nine hotels recognized.
NWR noted that both Hotel Okura Manila and Manila Marriott Hotel were already included in the MICHELIN Guide hotel selection in 2025 and 2026, although earning a Key raises the recognition for Hotel Okura Manila further.
NWR previously earned recognition for its dining options, with Cru Steakhouse and Man Ho at Manila Marriott Hotel, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Philippines, and Yamazato at Hotel Okura Manila all included in the inaugural MICHELIN Guide Philippines restaurant selection, giving the integrated resort four MICHELIN Selected restaurants under one address.
“The latest milestone reflects a broader hospitality strategy under Newport’s leadership, combining international hotel brands, destination dining and major entertainment investments within one integrated resort,” NWR said.
