Philippine online gaming giant DigiPlus Interactive Corp reported a 9% quarter-on-quarter decline in gross gaming revenue to Php15.6 billion (US$255 million) in the three months to 30 June 2026, however the company pointed to improved performance metrics with profitability on the rise and “net gaming revenue” up 0.9% to Php5.52 billion (US$90.2 million).
Net Gaming Revenue (NGR), DigiPlus said, is being introduced from this quarter as a key operating metric to provide a clearer view of underlying gaming performance, in line with its global peers. It added that NGR represents gaming revenues net of PAGCOR’s regulatory share and fees, game provider fees, marketing and promotional expenses, payment channel fees, and other direct gaming-related costs incurred – making it a more relevant measure of operating performance.
DigiPlus, whose platforms include BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone, reported a 124% quarter-on-quarter increase in net income to Php6.98 billion (US$114 million) while EBITDA grew 7% to Php2.85 billion (US$46.5 million). EBITDA margin improved from 15.3% in Q1 to 18.2% in Q2, supported by operating efficiency and disciplined cost management.
The company also cited aggregate monthly active users (MAU) of 5.75 million in the second quarter of 2026, supported by continued user growth across DigiPlus’ digital gaming platforms. Monthly Average Bettors and Depositors (MABD) also increased by 26% quarter-on-quarter to 4.68 million.
According to DigiPlus, this growth in MABD reflects the quality of its iGaming experience and its strength in product development, as well as the company’s improved user acquisition strategies across its platforms.
“As our business evolves, we believe the MAU base and the MABD growth reflects the market share of our platforms, our strength in product development and the overall quality of our Gaming-as-a-Service strategy,” said DigiPlus President Ping Chen.
“Our net gaming revenue after tax is the key metric we use to assess the performance of our operations as it captures not just the growth and scale of our user base but also measures the efficiency and the return on capital spend.
“The growing user base, improved cohort, as well as higher returns on capital will contribute to significantly higher GGR and NGR, as well as significantly higher profitability in the next quarters to come.
“Looking ahead, DigiPlus is evolving beyond a traditional online gaming operator into a Gaming-as-a-Service ecosystem powered by proprietary content, data-driven personalization, and continuous product innovation. This evolution strengthens our ability to deliver higher-quality earnings, deepen customer lifetime value, and create long-term value for our shareholders.”
