The 2026 World Series of Poker has all but concluded – the Main Event Final Table being the exception – with a record 251,899 entries across 100 bracelet events at Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe Las Vegas.
This saw players from 149 different countries take part, with Japan and China among the highest representations: Japan ranked fifth for total registrations followed by China in sixth.
According to information from the WSOP, the combined prize pools across the 100 events reached almost US$470 million although the biggest prize of the summer is yet to be awarded. That honor will go to the winner of the Main Event, with the final nine players due to return on 3 August and the winner taking home US$10 million.
Ty Stewart, CEO of the WSOP, said, “The 57th annual World Series of Poker proved that Las Vegas remains the undisputed epicenter of the poker universe.
“The energy inside Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas was nothing short of electric. What is truly remarkable this year is how our community expanded far beyond the physical walls of the casino floor. Through our newly redesigned final table arena, extensive linear broadcast schedule and unprecedented digital engagement, we brought the drama, excitement and glory of winning a WSOP gold bracelet to millions of new fans worldwide.”
