Hong Kong-listed Palasino Holdings Ltd has reported a 7.6% year-on-year increase in total revenues to HK$611.1 million (US$77.9 million) for the financial year ended 31 March 2026, aided by the launch of its newest casino, Palasino Mikulov in the Czech Republic, and a greater focus on gaming as the group’s main revenue driver.
Net profit of HK$13.8 million (US$1.76 million) was down 10.4% although adjusted net profit of HK$22.8 million (US$2.91 million) was up 35.7% year-on-year. Adjusted EBITDA of HK$60.7 million (US$7.74 million) was also 15.6% higher than the previous financial year.
In announcing its FY26 results, Palasino noted that profitability was impacted by “challenging macro-economic factors” including increase in employee benefits of HK$13.5 million (US$1.72 million) to attract talent and enhance competitiveness in the employment market and the recruitment of additional staff for the operations of Palasino Mikulov.
It added, that, despite a reduction in online gaming expenses of HK$7.8 million (US$995,000), “the Group continued investing in brand awareness across its target markets to attract travellers to its casinos” including a marketing campaign for the launch of Palasino Mikulov.
Palasino Mikulov soft-launched on 18 December 2025 before holding a grand opening on 21 March 2026.
Palasino, which now operates four casinos in the Czech Republic plus five hotels in the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria, described the launch of Palasino Mikulov as a “significant milestone in the Group’s long-term development” that has “further strengthened its presence and competitive positioning in the Czech Republic’s land-based casino market.”
Following its opening in late March, gaming revenue accounted for approximately 73.3% of the Group’s total revenue – up from 72.0% in FY25 – with non-gaming revenue slipping from 28.0% to HK$26.7%.
“The expansion of the Group’s gaming portfolio underscored the Group’s strategic focus on allocating business resources toward gaming as its primary revenue driver,” Palasino said.
The company also outlined plans to proceed with a Phase 2 expansion of Palasino Mikulov while continuing to upgrade existing facilities across its portfolio.
“Building on the initial expansion of the gaming floor and the increase in slot machine capacity at Palasino Resort, the Group will continue to pursue asset rejuvenation initiatives,” it said. “These include upgrading gaming facilities, optimizing back-of-house space utilization, and enhancing hospitality and conference offerings. Through these strategic enhancements, the Group aims to strengthen its competitive position and capture additional market share in an increasingly consolidating gaming industry in the Czech Republic and across Central Europe.”
Palasino’s casino operations were previously part of Hong Kong construction and real estate giant Far East Consortium – which remains a partner of Australia’s Star Entertainment Group – before being spun off in 2024.
