Malaysia’s Genting Bhd and Philippines duo Alliance Global Group and DigiPlus Interactive Corp are among the gaming-related companies to feature on the third annual Fortune Southeast Asia 500 – a list that recognizes and ranks the largest companies across Southeast Asia’s leading markets.
Genting was the best performer among the industry’s representatives, ranking 53rd with revenues of US$6.47 billion, albeit with a US$2.7 million loss for the year.
Alliance Global Group, the Philippines conglomerate that counts Manila’s Newport World Resorts and the soon-to-open Westside Resort among its assets, ranked 112th with revenue of US$3.30 billion and profit of US$360.4 million, while online giant DigiPlus ranked 215th with revenue of US$1.46 billion and profit of US$218.5 million.
DigiPlus chair Eusebio H. Tanco said, “We are proud to once again be part of the prestigious Fortune Southeast Asia 500.
“Making the list for the third straight year and moving up the ranks reflects the scale we have built and the consistency of our performance. We celebrate how far DigiPlus has come and remain committed to building a world-class technology and entertainment company.”
Cambodian casino operator NagaCorp and Solaire parent Bloomberry Resorts Corp also featured on the list.
Fortune noted that this year’s Fortune Southeast Asia 500 captures a regional corporate landscape in transition, with the commodity and energy giants that have anchored the ranking since its 2024 debut slowing despite continuing to generate a substantial share of the list’s 2025 revenues of US$1.88 trillion and US$150 billion in profits.
Further down the ranking, the publication added, growth is accelerating.
“Vietnamese companies, with revenues up 10.5% to US$177.9 billion, account for roughly one-quarter of the list’s overall revenue increase. Singapore’s leading banks, tech group Sea, and restructurings such as Thai Airways and True Corp, deliver some of the most notable year‑on‑year gains in revenue and profit.
“This year’s Southeast Asia 500 shows which companies are capturing a growing share of the region’s revenue and profits.”
