IDX, a developer of advanced casino display technology, has announced an agreement to supply its premier X-Trend system to the upcoming Westside Resort property, scheduled to open in Manila’s Entertainment City later this year.
Westside will, IDX said, launch with 250 gaming tables fully equipped with IDX’s sophisticated X-Trend displays and software which aims to provide a distinct visual identity that can instantly set the property apart from competitors.
The IDX solution was chosen following rigorous trials by the Westside team and a comprehensive evaluation of every major display product available on the market, it explained.
“As we prepare for opening, our focus is on building a gaming environment that reflects the property’s standards for quality and guest experience,” said Rhoda Lopez, Chief Gaming Officer at Westside Resort.
“After reviewing the options, IDX stood out for the visual quality of its displays and its ability to deliver a customized solution for the casino floor. That made it the right fit for the direction we are establishing at Westside Resort.”
Beyond the striking aesthetics and bespoke graphical design, IDX said its technological architecture played a crucial role in Westside’s selection process. The X-Trend system offers robust, centralized network management, allowing casino operators to control and update displays across the vast casino floor effortlessly. IDX said its software was also chosen for its ability to flawlessly integrate with the advanced smart table technology being deployed at Westside Resort, ensuring a seamless flow of data and a frictionless experience for both players and staff.
