Palasino Holdings Limited, the Hong-Kong-listed firm that operates hotels and casinos in the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria, has announced Oi Wai Wong as its new Chief Financial Officer, as well its Company Secretary, Authorized Representative and Process Agent.

Her appointment follows the resignation of Kwok Tai Law.

In a filing, Palasino said Wong is an experienced accountant who has held several roles in property and real estate. These include as General Manager of Accounts Department of Sino Group, Financial Controller (Hong Kong) of K. Wah International Holdings Limited and in various managerial positions at the Hong Kong Housing Society.

She previously filled various roles in multinational corporations in Hong Kong and Canada focused in the telecommunications industry.

Palasino added that Wong graduated from McGill University, Canada, with a Bachelor of Commerce concentrating in Accounting and Management Information Systems, that she is a non-practicing member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a qualified member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a Fellow member of Chartered Management Accountants and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Palasino operates four casinos in the Czech Republic, including the recently opened Palasino Mikulov, plus five hotels in the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria.

Its casino operations were previously part of Hong Kong construction and real estate giant Far East Consortium before being spun off in 2024.
