Over 150 representatives of the Philippines and broader Asian gaming industry gathered at the LaVie Grand Lobby at Manila’s LaVie Resort & Casino on Tuesday evening to celebrate the first Manila After Dark of 2026, MAD 34.
The maiden 2026 MAD was held at the new-look LaVie, which is in the midst of a comprehensive renovation, and saw guests have a thoroughly good time as many caught up for the first time in many months while enjoying the feast of fine finger food provided by the LaVie catering team.

Attendees also marvelled at the LaVie Grand Lobby’s four massive pillars – known as The Four Pillars of Light – each wrapped in high-quality LED screens from floor to ceiling.
The event attracted guests from across the industry, including representatives of all four Entertainment City IRs in City of Dreams Manila, Newport World Resorts, Okada Manila and Solaire, as well as those from other resorts across the Philippines and beyond. Also well represented were representatives from the supplier sector and other industry executives.
Gaming regulator PAGCOR enjoyed a healthy presence, including Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco who gave a rousing speech encouraging the industry to embrace the opportunity to mingle face-to-face given the challenging global events of the times. He also thanked IAG for its contribution in providing extensive coverage of the Philippines gaming industry.

Inside Asian Gaming thanks all of our generous sponsors for the event, namely LaVie Resort and Casino as Venue Sponsor, FBM and Light & Wonder as Platinum Sponsors and IGT, SammQuattro and Tecnet Asia as Gold Sponsors.
With the first Manila After Dark for 2026 now successfully staged, attention turns to Macau After Dark which will take place next Tuesday 21 April at Aurora at Altira Macau.
