Bloomberry Resorts Corp’s Solaire Resort North in Quezon City has announced a two-year sponsorship deal with South Korean golf pro Ina Yoon.

The strategic move sees Solaire partner with one of the game’s rising stars before she makes her debut this year on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tour, the foremost women’s professional golf organization.

Yoon, who wore the Solaire logo during a contract-signing ceremony on Sunday at Solaire Resort North’s Skybar, is the reigning Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Player of the Year following a season that saw her win the 2024 KLPGA Jeju Samdasoo Masters in August alongside four runner-up finishes, three third-place finishes and 14 top 10 finishes.

She also earned the prestigious Triple Crown by leading last year’s KLPGA tour in earnings, points and stroke average, establishing herself as a player to lookout for.

Solaire said the new partnership further propels its brand onto the world stage with Yoon’s tournaments throughout 2025 and 2026, which began at the Founders Cup in Bradenton, Florida, earlier this month.

“I’m truly honored to partner with Solaire, a brand that has consistently supported the world’s top players,” Yoon said. “I sincerely thank them for believing in my potential and supporting me as I embrace this new challenge. I am committed to continuous improvement, striving toward my goals and excelling on the LPGA Tour. To everyone who has supported me, I promise to give my very best in every tournament.”

South Korea is the number one source market for the Philippines’ tourism and gaming industries, with almost 1.6 million arrivals in 2024 representing 26.4% of the country’s total visitor arrivals for the year.
