Manila’s Newport World Resorts (NWR) has won two awards at the recent 11th annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, including a Silver Stevie Award in the Thought Leader of the Year category, celebrating the sustainability efforts of President and CEO Kingson Sian.
According to NWR, Sian has been a vocal advocate of sustainability in business operations and sustainable living, and has actively promoted the property’s “all-encompassing and fully integrated” I LOVE Earth sustainability program across the industry.
NWR was also awarded with a Bronze Stevie Award for its membership program Epic Rewards. Launched in 2022, the multi-category, multi-property, and multi-channel rewards program has treated its thousands of patrons to rewarding experiences and exclusive perks that positively impact guest experience within NWRE, the company explained.
“From Thought Leadership to product innovation through our Epic Rewards program, we are grateful for the opportunity to showcase our best,” said NWR’s Chief Marketing Officer, David Jorden. “The Stevie Awards is a valuable recognition of our efforts to both elevate the way guests experience Newport World Resorts, and also to amplify our advocacies to create positive impact within our industry and beyond.”
The Stevie Awards is described as the only awards program to recognize business innovation throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
