The highly anticipated “NBA China Games 2026” will kick off its first game this Friday, with large-scale fan festival “NBA HOUSE” hosting its grand opening at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo on Wednesday.
For five consecutive days, the event will provide a series of continuous and diverse experiences for both residents and visitors.
Sands China stated that this year’s NBA HOUSE has significantly expanded and upgraded. From 7 to 11 October, the event will be held in Halls A and B of Cotai Expo at The Venetian Macao.
This year, NBA HOUSE is partnering with nearly 30 renowned global brands and exhibitors, with the total scale expanding to over 1,500 square meters.
The venue also features exclusive themed zones for the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks, along with photo opportunities with the NBA trophies and interactive basketball challenges on the smart digital LED court as part of the “NBA Inside the Game powered by AWS” experience.
Additionally, an extensive lineup of activities will take place over the five days, with 10 NBA legends – including Ray Allen, Carlos Boozer and Chris Bosh – appearing at the event to meet fans in person.
Sands China’s Sands Cares will also collaborate with NBA Cares to host the “NBA Cares x Sands Cares Community Impact Week 2026,” during which multiple NBA legends will visit schools and communities across Macau over the coming days.
The debut of NBA HOUSE last year sparked widespread interest and enhanced the appeal of the NBA China Games.
This year’s NBA China Games will take place on Friday and Sunday, featuring the Houston Rockets against the Dallas Mavericks. Rockets star Kevin Durant, a two-time NBA champion and 16-time NBA All-Star, has already arrived in Macau and is currently in training. Key Mavericks players Kyrie Irving and last year’s NBA Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg will also take the court for the game.
