Tim Neil has stepped down as General Manager of Hann Reserve Golf, the eco-luxury golf and lifestyle estate being developed by Hann Resorts in New Clark City, Philippines.
A little under two years since taking on the role, the former professional golfer revealed via a social media post that his time with Hann had come to an end. In that time, he oversaw the soft-opening of Hann Reserve’s Phase 1 development and most notably the first of its three world-class golf courses – Dragon’s Landing by Nicklaus Design.
“It has been quite a journey,” Neil said in the post. “From development and construction through to pre-opening and live operations, I had the opportunity to help shape and mobilize Hann Reserve, a US$4 billion integrated destination spanning hospitality, golf, F&B, real estate, wellness and recreation.
“Along the way, there were plenty of challenges to solve, plans that changed, long days and some ambitious ideas that became reality. That’s part of what makes building something from the ground up so rewarding.
“But as always, the part I will remember most is the people. Building a team, watching people grow, and working alongside colleagues and partners from around the world has been one of the highlights of the experience.
“I leave proud of what we achieved, grateful for the opportunity, and wishing the team at Hann every success as the destination continues to develop.”
Neil, who sat down with IAG earlier this year to discuss progress on Hann Reserve, said he would now return to Korea to spend time with family before moving onto his next chapter.
