Global gaming supplier Light & Wonder has named Muthu Palanichamy as its new Senior Vice President & General Manager, Global Systems.
According to information released overnight, Palanichamy assumed the role last month and now leads the company’s global Systems business, overseeing product strategy and roadmap, R&D, delivery and operations, and customer engagement for the Systems portfolio.
A 16-year Light & Wonder veteran, the company said Palanichamy has held leadership roles across Client Services, Operations and Systems Research & Development, building extensive experience across the business and its global customer base. Most recently, he played a key role in advancing the systems product strategy and driving initiatives focused on innovation, operational excellence, and customer success.
Since assuming the role in August, Palanichamy has overseen nine competitive systems replacements, including deployments at multiple properties in North America demonstrating continued customer confidence in Light & Wonder’s systems portfolio and the strength of its technology and solutions, the company explained.
It added that, under his expanded leadership role, Palanichamy will oversee the continued growth and evolution of the company’s systems business, with a focus on advancing its global product strategy, strengthening long-term customer partnerships, and delivering innovative solutions that create value for operators.
