Wynn Macau Ltd has rolled out a one‑time “Wynn Macau 20th Anniversary Share Award” as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, with the company thanking employees for their contributions over past two decades.
In an announcement, Wynn Macau noted that the company currently has more than 11,660 full‑time employees andthat nearly 95% of its team members will benefit from this share award.
Linda Chen, President, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau Ltd, stated, “Twenty years ago, I arrived in Macau filled with excitement and anticipation, working alongside the team to bring Wynn to life. Twenty years later, our original aspiration and passion have fuelled Wynn’s growth, and allowed me, together with our 11,660 employees and their families, to put down roots and build our careers in Macau.”
Chen specifically mentioned that trust, purpose and dreams lie at the heart of Wynn’s workforce. Team members, she added, showcase Macau’s warmth and refinement on the international stage, extend this spirit of care to the community and keep supporting Macau’s development.
“None of our accomplishments would have been possible without the policy support for Macau from the Central Government, the robust assistance from the Macao SAR Government, and above all, the loyalty and perseverance of every colleague,” she said.
Since original property Wynn Macau opened on the Macau peninsula in 2006, over 1,400 founding team members have stayed on with the company to this day. To recognize their long‑term contributions, Wynn Macau paid special tribute to these founding members during its anniversary celebrations. All founding members with 20 years of service received a 20th anniversary commemorative certificate, alongside a special share award valued at MOP$50,000 (US$6,190).
The aggregate value of the awards, including those granted to 11,038 employee participants, 16 related entity participants, one service provider and Chen herself – plus COO and Executive Director Frederic Luvisutto – is HK$204 million (US$26 million).
