Korea’s Paradise City has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with technology company DSM Corporation to conduct joint marketing to customers ahead of the planned 2027 opening of 9.81 Theme Park Incheon Airport.
Scheduled for launch in Sprint, 9.81 Theme Park Incheon Airport is described as a technology driven and experiential entertainment concept best known for its gravity-powered racing attraction at the original 9.81 Theme Park in Jeju.
The much larger Incheon project, located just a few minutes from Incheon Airport’s Terminal 1 near the Paradise City integrated resort, is situated on a 60,000 square-meter site – the size of around nine football pitches – and will when open offer a 50-meter-high indoor gravity-racing stadium, three-dimensional racing circuits, next-gen racing vehicles, AI-driven vehicle and control systems and AR technology.

It is reported that DSM hopes to attract 1 million visitors in its first year, rising to 2 million thereafter.
Under the agreement, DSM and Paradise City – home to one of Korea’s most successful foreigner-only casinos – plan to conduct joint marketing utilizing online and offline channels to each other’s customers and introduce bundled products linking the content and benefits of Paradise City and 9.81 Park. They will also pursue joint sales, MICE, group tours, education and experience programs, and joint campaigns aimed at attracting foreign tourists.
They also plan to continue cooperation to improve mobility and transportation accessibility for visitors to both facilities.
“We are very pleased to partner with DSM, which is creating a new leisure culture through differentiated technology and experiential content,” said a Paradise City official.
“We expect that the combination of Paradise City’s cultural, artistic and entertainment capabilities and 9.81 Park’s dynamic activities will provide domestic and international customers with a richer and more distinctive stay experience.”
Paradise City’s parent company, Paradise Co, earlier this month reported an 11.8% year-on-year increase in group-wide sales to KRW318.1 billion (US$225 million), bolstered by all-time quarterly casino drop amount across its portfolio.
Aside from Paradise City, the company operates three other casinos in Seoul, Busan and Jeju.
