Genting Singapore, operator of Resorts World Sentosa, reported a slight 1% year-on-year decline in group-wide revenues to SG$1.20 billion (US$937 million) in the first six months of 2026, with a 4% decline in gaming revenues offset by a 6% rise in non-gaming.
Releasing its financial results late Thursday, the company said that gaming revenue in 1H26 reached SG$804.4 million (US$628 million), suggesting that gaming revenue in the June 2026 quarter was largely flat compared with the March quarter at around SG$401 million (US$313 million), based on information released earlier in the year.
Non-gaming revenue in H1 was SG$398.8 million (US$311 million), suggesting a near 5% sequential decline in the quarter.
However, while Adjusted EBITDA of SG$389.8 million (US$304 million) in the first six months of the year was down 8%, Genting Singapore said it made solid progress in Q2 with Adjusted EBITDA of SG$210.8 million (US$165 million) up 18% quarter-on-quarter and 12% year-on-year.
Net profit was SG$156.1 million (US$122 million), impacted by higher depreciation, lower interest income and the group’s RWS 2.0 asset refresh works. The property’s transformation is set to continue in the coming years, with refreshed facilities being rolled out progressively ahead of a planned 2030 completion – in tandem with the government’s timeline to enhance connectivity and overall offerings under the Greater Sentosa Master Plan.
“RWS has entered a new chapter,” said Genting Singapore’s Chairman and Acting CEO, Lim Kok Thay.
“With a new committed and energized leadership team and a clear transformation roadmap, we are now building a bold, dynamic and innovative resort that delivers compelling entertainment and experiences to our guests and long-term value for our shareholders.”
Genting Singapore’s Board of Directors has declared an interim dividend of SG$2.0 cents per ordinary share for the six months ended 30 June 2026, with the company stating this was consistent with its commitment to stable and sustainable shareholder returns during the RWS 2.0 redevelopment phase.
