Sands China has told staff that Raymond Voon will step down as the company’s Senior Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Loyalty, with Philip Lam stepping into a new leadership role.
According to an internal memo seen by Inside Asian Gaming, Voon – who only joined Sands China from Galaxy Entertainment Group in November – has tendered his resignation with immediate effect.
The memo said Voon had “led the team since Q4 2025 during a period of increasing competition in the market place” and “made many positive contributions to the company.”
Lam, who joined Sands China in 2010, will take on the leadership role for loyalty marketing, reporting to Hubert Wang.
The company said he “brings a wealth of experience across marketing, market development and analytics” and “will continue to oversee Asia/Non-Asia Market Development and Slot Market Development.”
Both Wing Ao and Ryan Chan will continue to report to Lam.
It added that the property market development teams led by Winby Wong for Londoner and Eddie Lou/Susana Veloso for Parisian and Londoner Grand will report into Hubert Wang
“These changes strengthen the integration of our marketing functions and capitalize on the company’s leadership expertise, enabling us to respond more effectively to evolving market dynamics across all player segments,” Sands China stated.
Voon had joined Sands last year as part of an executive reshuffle following the departure of long-time marketing guru Virginia Lam. It was at that time the company also revealed the departure of EVP of Operations Sean McCreery, who recently joined Bloomberry Resorts Corp in the Philippines as COO of Solaire Resort Entertainment City.
