Macau-based gaming distributor Asia Pioneer Entertainment (APE) has issued a positive profit alert on what it says was a “90-fold” year-on-year increase in profit in 1H26 to between HK$2.2 million and HK$2.3 million (US$280,430 to US$293,175).
This, the company explained in a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing, was thanks to a substantial jump in revenues and profits from its cire “technical sales and distribution of electronic gaming equipment,” which grew by 56.2% compared with the same period last year. Group-wide turnover grew 47.3% year-on-year to HK$34.0 million.
APE’s Chief Financial Officer, Tony Chan, said, “The Group delivered a very solid operational performance in the first half of 2026, underscored by robust growth in our core electronic gaming equipment distribution business. Alongside our financial recovery, we achieved crucial strategic milestones in H1 by launching BEE MACAU – Macau’s first casino-grade playing card manufacturer – and the rollout of our cash conversion tech solutions.
“While these new ventures are in their early stages and have not yet contributed directly to H1 revenue, they lay a solid foundation for future top-line growth. This positive profit alert validates the strength and resilience of our core business. Together with these two new business lines, we are exceptionally confident in our vision to provide a seamless ‘one-stop shop’ ecosystem.”
APE said it expects to release its finalized interim results for 1H26 by the end of August.
