Inside Asian Gaming is saddened to hear of the passing of Jeff Mann, the Managing Director of Philippines sports betting operator MegaSportsWorld and former CEO of the Asian Poker Tour, following a battle with cancer.
A close friend of the IAG team and a regular attendee of IAG events in the Philippines, Jeff was widely known as one of the nicest people in the industry. Renowned for greeting friends and colleagues with a wide smile, he was also a trusted mentor and confidante to many – never shy to lend a supportive ear.
IAG Managing Editor Ben Blaschke interviewed Jeff nearly a decade ago back in October 2016, and you can read that interview here.

IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W. Scott said, “I was devastated to hear of Jeff’s passing. Jeff Mann was a true gentleman, and I had the good fortune of crossing paths with him many times over the past 20 years. We first met through the Asian Poker Tour while he was CEO, when I played on the tour, and later we worked together to bring the Asian Poker Tour to Ho Tram in Vietnam, which was a massive success.
“In recent years, his passion for MegaSportsWorld was clear for all to see. Jeff was an absolute delight to work with – good-humored, friendly and a truly outstanding leader of his team. Our deepest condolences go to his wife Joy and the rest of his family. Jeff will be sorely missed.”
A special mass will be held in Jeff’s honor next Tuesday 28 July in Manila.
