SJM Resorts, S.A.’s Managing Director, Daisy Ho, was a special guest as Inside Asian Gaming presented the latest edition of Macau After Dark at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau on Tuesday evening.
The event attracted a strong turnout of around 150 industry representatives, all keen to enjoy the luxurious surrounds of one of GLP’s newest venues, The Garden House, as well as a spectacular menu curated and served by the team behind SJM’s MICHELIN-recognized restaurants.
The chefs — Ken Chong and Fabiano Palombini, respectively Head Chefs of the newly MICHELIN one-starred Palace Garden and Don Alfonso 1890; and Herlander Fernandes, Head Chef of MICHELIN-selected Mesa by José Avillez — treated MAD guests to some of the finest food Macau has to offer, underscoring GLP’s outstanding reputation as a regional fine-dining leader.
The Garden House, which features a unique indoor-outdoor setting that encapsulates GLP’s manicured gardens, proved to be an exceptional event venue, with its high ceilings, lush outlook and inviting green furnishings.
In her speech, Ms Ho noted that SJM has been rooted in Macau for over 60 years.
“Through every chapter of this industry story we’ve been proud to stand alongside it and as we open our doors to so many friends and leaders from across the industry, this is a moment we have genuinely been looking forward to,” she said.
“There’s no better place to make that first impression than right here at The Garden House, one of the newest additions to Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau. The floor-to-ceiling windows bring lush greenery indoors and stepping outside leads you into a private courtyard.
