South Korea’s leading foreigner-only casino operator, Paradise Co booked a 5.1% year-on-year increase in casino revenue to KRW477.6 billion (US$308 million) in 1H26, despite a challenging final month in June.
The improvement comes after the company – which operates four foreigner-only casinos including at its Paradise City integrated resort in Incheon – reported record group-wide revenue of KRW1.15 trillion (US$789 million) and operating profit of KRW156.4 billion (US$107 million) in 2025.
In a Thursday filing, Paradise revealed a 21.2% year-on-year and 35.6% month-on-month decline in casino revenue to KRW63.2 billion (US$40.7 million) in June. While it didn’t outline the reasons for this, it is notable that casino drop amount of KRW641.1 billion (US$413 million) was actually up by 10.3% year-on-year and down by 16.2% sequentially.
The company has been on the rise over the past 18 months and has enjoyed significant year-on-year increases in four of six months so far.
June’s revenue figures included a 23.6% year-on-year fall in table games revenue to KRW57.6 billion (US$37.1 million) but a 16.8% increase in machine revenue to KRW5.56 billion (US$3.58 million).
Separately, Paradise said its subsidiary Paradise Sega Sammy recently completed the repayment of a KRW100 billion (US$64.5 million) loan, having last year received a 12-month extension to the initial maturity date. The loan was paid off on 31 March 2026.
Paradise Co owns 55% of Paradise Sega Sammy, which is the operating entity of Paradise City, with Japan’s Sega Sammy Holdings controlling the other 45%.
