Hong Kong-listed SJM Holdings Ltd, the holding company of Macau concessionaire SJM Resorts S.A., has announced the resignation of Christopher Ip Shih Ming as Chief Financial Officer, with former NagaCorp CFO Sean Czoon Tan stepping into his place.
According to a Monday filing, the executive transition is effective immediately.
SJM said Tan, 47, boasts more than 25 years of strategic business and financial management gained from a Hong Kong listed company, international well-established investment bank and sizeable global accounting firm.
He most recently worked for NagaCorp – operator of Cambodia’s only integrated resort NagaWorld in Phnom Penh – between July 2013 and June 2026. Tan served as NagaCorp’s CFO from March 2018 and was promoted to Chief Corporate Development Officer in July 2025.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Accounting & Finance) from The University of Queensland, Australia in 1999, is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder, SJM said.
His appointment comes at a crucial time for SJM following the closure of its satellite casinos last year. The company has purchased one of those former satellites, Casino L’Arc, is in the process of opening new gaming space and upgrading facilities at Hotel Lisboa and Grand Lisboa, and is converting recently acquired office space in Hengqin into a three-star hotel.
