Asia Pioneer Entertainment Holdings Limited (APE) has signed a distribution agreement with Germany’s CountR GmbH under which APE will distribute CountR’s products across multiple markets in Asia.
The partnership was officially unveiled at last week’s G2E Asia expo in Macau, where the two companies jointly showcased their integrated solutions.
In an announcement, APE said the collaboration follows closely on the launch earlier this month of Bee Macau – described as Macau’s first playing card factory – and marks the company’s transformation from a single electronic gaming equipment supplier into a “one stop” casino solutions provider, integrating electronic gaming machines, table game accessories and cash management systems.
According to APE, CountR brings more than 20 years of experience and has deployed over 10,000 cash redemption machines worldwide across integrated resorts, cruise ships and casinos. Through its partnership with APE, CountR’s kiosks will now be introduced for the first time to Macau and other fast-growing markets in Asia.
Maria Garcia, Executive Director and Sales Director of APE, said, “Through this collaboration and our existing product offerings, we can now provide a broader range of products and services that address most casino operational needs. I am confident that this partnership will support APE in developing new markets across Asia.”
Tamara Sawyer, Regional Sales Manager of CountR, added, “Partnering with APE allows us to enter Asia’s rapidly growing casino market. Together, we are bringing proven innovation to the region and opening up new opportunities for growth.”
APE said its product portfolio has now been upgraded into a comprehensive suite of casino solutions. Its electronic gaming equipment includes slot machines and electronic table games; its table game solutions include BEE MACAU, dealing shoes and smart trend boards; while its cash management solutions are powered by CountR’s self-service redemption kiosks.
“APE’s strategy is shifting from being primarily a supplier of electronic gaming equipment to delivering comprehensive gaming operation solutions,” said Herman Ng, CEO and Executive Director of APE. “The new model focuses on integration, cost efficiency and flexibility, allowing APE to serve both large integrated resort casinos and smaller niche casino floors effectively.”
