Sands China has confirmed it will again host the Sands Shopping Carnival this year, with participation free of charge for all four days of the event. This marks the seventh consecutive year that Sands China has provided the large-scale sales and exhibition platform for Macau’s SMEs, community partners and Sands retailers.

Since the launch of the Sands Shopping Carnival in 2020, exhibition participation has been offered free of charge. Originally conceived as an initiative to support Macau’s SMEs during the pandemic, the event received an enthusiastic response and has continued annually ever since, now entering its seventh year.

The 2026 Sands Shopping Carnival will be held at Cotai Expo at The Venetian Macao from 23 to 26 July, spanning four consecutive days. Booth applications will be open for a limited period from 19 to 29 May.

This year’s carnival is expected to feature more than 580 booths. As in previous years, the event will include a wide variety of themed zones covering household products, food and beverage, a food court, cultural and creative products, Sands retailers, Macau specialty souvenirs, as well as family fun and sports experience activities.

The event will begin with an invitation-only session on the first day on 23 July, followed by public admission over the next three days. Opening hours will be from 12 noon to 10pm daily. To encourage public participation, admission will be free for all visitors and complimentary shuttle buses and free parking services will be provided.

Sands China noted that since its debut in 2020 during the pandemic, the carnival has continued to attract strong support and participation from local residents and visitors. Cumulative attendance has now exceeded 640,000, helping drive local spending by residents and tourists alike. Over the years, the event has also provided 4,000 complimentary booths, supporting Macau’s SMEs in collaboration with Sands retailers to expand their customer base and raise market visibility, while further strengthening the promotion of Macau consumer brands.
