O MEDIA, part of Complete Media Group, has launched Access Macau, a new business division providing direct, practical support to international companies seeking to enter the Macau SAR market.
The concept was introduced at a special luncheon at Artyzen Grand Lapa on Friday, attended by 28 invited guests including senior representatives of all six concessionaires, local business leaders, lawyers and hospitality executives from across the city.
Among the attendees were Dr Cheng Wai Tong, Subdirector of the Macao Government Tourism Office; Kevin Kelley, COO – Macau of Galaxy Entertainment Group; Tim Kelly, Property President of City of Dreams, Melco Resorts & Entertainment; Kenneth Feng, CEO and Executive Director of MGM China; John Burger, SVP Resort Operations of Sands China; Andy Lee, Chief Gaming Officer of SJM Resorts; and Price Karr, CFO of Wynn Macau.
Access Macau has been established in response to the US$16.3 billion in non-gaming investment contractually committed by Macau’s concessionaires during their current 10-year concession period, from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2032. This represents US$31 million every week to be deployed across entertainment, events, tourism, technology, wellness and other sectors, all aimed at contributing to Macau’s ongoing economic diversification.

While this has created a unique opportunity for international businesses to collaborate with Macau’s six integrated resort operators, it has also led to a growing number of companies and individuals from outside Macau seeking to enter the market with a wide range of business concepts — only some of which are suitable. Some companies do indeed have viable solutions, but little or no understanding of Macau’s unique business environment or how to do business effectively in the Macau SAR.
Macau presents many enticing business opportunities, but it can also be highly unforgiving. Many international companies attempting to establish themselves do not fully appreciate that Macau is highly relationship-driven, tightly regulated and shaped by complex dynamics that are often invisible from the outside. Standard market-entry approaches can fail, and even global companies can get it wrong.

Access Macau provides direct, practical support to businesses entering the Macau market, grounded in decades of on-the-ground experience across the gaming, hospitality and government ecosystem. O MEDIA’s high-profile media, events and advisory platforms give it strong convening authority and curation power. Combined with a cross-cultural team and operations, Access Macau acts as an effective bridge between Eastern and Western business cultures, while also helping filter out companies and ideas that are not suitable for Macau.
The business is designed to tell candidate market entrants what others may not: whether their opportunity is real, where it fits, where it does not, and what needs to change to make it work. It also assists with operational execution and connections to the right stakeholders, helping enable real in-market outcomes.
“I congratulate Andrew and the whole team on launching Access Macau today,” said Kevin Kelley, COO – Macau of Galaxy Entertainment Group.
“There is no doubt that the SAR is looking for diversification and if you can create that funnel to help accommodate that diversification, we’re all in. We wish [the new business unit] great success and look forward to helping facilitate the growth of Access Macau.”
Vice Chairman and CEO of O MEDIA, Andrew W Scott, added, “We’re thrilled to be introducing Access Macau today, a business idea we’ve had in the pipeline for some time. Our goal with Access Macau is to support the Macau SAR government’s economic diversification objectives while helping companies effectively navigate the unique ways of doing business in Macau — ultimately leading them towards successful commercial outcomes.”
