Inside Asian Gaming is pleased to confirm that the IAG EXPO will return to Manila’s Newport World Resorts (NWR) in 2026, however the IAG Exhibition will be paused for one year due to NWR commitments for the Philippines Chairmanship of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) political forum, and delays to ASEAN due to the Iran crisis.
All other events that form the IAG EXPO – Manila After Dark (MAD), the IAG Academy Summit, the IAG Academy IR Awards and The Regulators Forum, as well as the new CiG iDEA Summit – will carry on in 2026 as planned, with the IAG Exhibition returning bigger and stronger than ever in 2027.

The rescheduling of certain elements of ASEAN 2026 – which involves over 500 meetings across the Philippines over nine months – due to the situation in Iran also means that IAG has agreed to move this year’s IAG EXPO to one week later than previously planned, from 7 to 10 September to the new dates of 14 to 17 September 2026.
The CiG iDEA Summit will now be held on Monday 14 September in the Hilton Ballroom at NWR, followed by MAD on the evening of 14 September at a venue to be advised.

The IAG Academy Summit will also be held in the Hilton Ballroom – where it was previously held in 2023 and 2024 – on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 September, while the IAG Academy IR Awards will take place on the evening of Tuesday 15 September in the Manila Ballroom at Manila Marriott, the same venue as last year.

The week’s series of events will conclude on Thursday 17 September with The Regulators Forum in the Hilton Ballroom.
“We’re delighted to announce the dates and venues for the 4th IAG EXPO,” said IAG Vice Chairman and CEO, Andrew W Scott.
“Major regional events inevitably operate within broader geopolitical and scheduling realities, and given the ASEAN calendar and associated disruptions, this is the right call for 2026.
“The strength of the IAG EXPO has never been tied to any single element, and with five of the six component events proceeding as planned, IAG EXPO week will remain as relevant and impactful as ever.
“In fact, this gives us the opportunity to take a step back and ensure the exhibition element returns in 2027 in a format that is bigger, firmly future-focused and very much in line with where the industry is heading.
“The EXPO has always been about bringing the industry together in a meaningful way, and that will continue this September.”
With the dates and venues for the 2026 IAG EXPO now locked in, IAG looks forward to releasing more details in the coming weeks, including the programs for the CiG iDEA Summit, the IAG Academy Summit and The Regulators Forum as well as the categories for the 2026 IAG Academy Awards.
