IDX Games has launched its latest mid-game bonus side bet, Power Play Baccarat, which made its debut in late March at Hann Casino Resort in Clark, Philippines.
According to information provided by IDX, Power Play is a dynamic, mid-game betting feature designed to maximize action on any existing Baccarat game. Capitalizing on the natural suspense of Baccarat, Power Play offers players a brand-new betting window immediately after the initial four cards are revealed.
Dynamic odds are displayed on the table display screen the moment the bet opens, allowing players to strategically choose their next – or first – move in the game.
“By introducing dynamic odds and a mid-game betting window right at the peak of the game’s suspense, we are transforming a traditional classic into an interactive, high-energy experience,” said Rod Hackman, VP of Gaming Operations of Hann Casino Resort. “It brings a new level of thrill to the players and unprecedented engagement to the casino floor.”
IDX said Power Play is designed to deliver incremental revenue and player engagement and is engineered to elevate the player experience while driving operational benefits for casinos.
These benefits include high-frequency action, with the bet triggering anytime that a third card is required, activating on around 62% of all hands; dynamic odds with the system instantly calculating and displays point-based odds on the main screen once the first four cards are revealed; and unrestricted participation with the action open to everyone at or around the table. Players can jump in on the Power Play action even if they did not place an initial base game bet.
