GTI Gaming, an Italian developer of casino management and RFID technology solutions, said Tuesday it has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Australian-based distributor IPG International with the goal of expanding the reach of its smart casino systems across Asia-Pacific and emerging gaming markets.
According to GTI Gaming, the agreement will see IPG International act as exclusive regional distributor and implementation partner for GTI’s suite of casino technology products, including its RFID-enabled casino currency, table-game management tools and GTI Casino Information Management System (CIMS).
As such, IPG International will introduce GTI Gaming’s technologies to its network of casino operators across Southeast Asia, Australasia and other emerging markets.
This comes as casino operators across Asia-Pacific are increasingly investing in “smart table” and RFID solutions, providing them as well as regulators with greater transparency, enhanced game protection and detailed operational analytics.
The agreement will allow IPG to integrate GTI’s systems into new casino projects and retrofit them into existing gaming floors, providing operators with tools for automated chip tracking, real-time reporting and improved player data analysis, the company explained.
Headquartered in Italy, GTI Gaming specializes in digital transformation solutions for the casino industry, combining hardware, software and RFID-based chip technology to provide real-time monitoring and management of gaming tables and chip inventories. These systems allow casinos to automate accounting processes, strengthen anti-counterfeiting protection and improve operational efficiency.
IPG was founded in 1989 and supplies gaming equipment, table games and systems to casinos and cruise operators throughout the region.
