Robinsons Hotels and Resorts, the subsidiary of Philippines-listed Robinsons Land Corporation that operates its hotel portfolio, reported a 5% year-on-year increase in 4Q25 revenues to Php1.76 billion (US$29.6 million) – supported by the performance of the hotels at Cebu’s NUSTAR Resort & Casino.
The company oversees two hotels at NUSTAR – the five-star Fili and ultra-luxury NUSTAR Cebu, which opened in May 2025 – as part of its broader portfolio of 27 hotels and 4,309 room keys.
In a filing, Robinsons called out the NUSTAR hotels as playing a central role in its growth, which included an 8% year-on-year increase in FY25 revenues to Php6.5 billion (US$109 million).
It added, “Despite the inclusion of new hotels, systemwide occupancy improved to 67% – up 100 basis points from the prior quarter and outperforming market average occupancy of 60%. Profitability strengthened as EBITDA rose 6% to Php1.90 billion (US$31.9 million) and EBIT increased 3% to Php1.01 billion (US$17.0 million), supported by better operating leverage.”
The company noted that international brands and luxury hotels now contribute approximately 71% of revenues, reflecting its “strategic focus on premiumization and higher-yield hospitality assets.”
Robinsons Land Corporation is a subsidiary of leading Philippines conglomerate JG Summit Holdings, part of the Gokongwei Group. Another subsidiary of JG Summit Holdings, Universal Hotels and Resorts, is the developer of NUSTAR and holds its casino license.
