Wynn Macau Limited has announced that paid maternity leave for eligible female team members will be increased from the current 70 days to 90 days. The enhanced benefit will apply to female employees who have completed one year of continuous service as of the date of confinement, and the new initiative will take effect on 1 March 2026.
The company said the move reflects its strong commitment to employee well-being and family-friendly policies and aligns with the Macao SAR Government’s policy direction of promoting family-friendly workplace practices. Wynn added that by further enhancing its employee care system it aims to contribute to the sustainable development of Macau.
Wynn said it has long regarded team members as a valuable asset and continues to review and improve its compensation and benefits programs. The company noted that it took a pioneering step in 2018 by increasing paid paternity leave for male employees to seven days, setting a benchmark within Macau’s hospitality industry. Wynn is now further extending paid maternity leave with the aim of allowing employees more time to recover physically and mentally during the important stage of welcoming a new family member, while strengthening bonding with newborns and supporting overall family harmony.
Wynn said it believes the enhanced maternity and paternity benefits will further promote a family-friendly corporate culture, provide more comprehensive support for parents welcoming newborns and help team members achieve a more meaningful balance between work and family life.
