Inside Asian Gaming has received formal endorsement from Philippine gaming regulator PAGCOR for this year’s IAG EXPO, to be held in Manila from 7 to 10 September 2026.
The endorsement covers the full expanded array of components for this year’s IAG EXPO, including the first ever iGaming Discovery and Exchange Asia-Pacific (iDEA) Summit, welcome event Manila After Dark, the IAG Exhibition, the IAG Academy Summit, the IAG Academy IR Awards, and The Regulators Forum.
More information on this year’s IAG EXPO, including the newly introduced iDEA Summit, is available at iagexpo.com. The IAG EXPO will also see the return of The Regulators Forum – a unique one-day event hosted by IAG in conjunction with PAGCOR at which regulators from around the Asia-Pacific region are invited to take part in a day of high-level knowledge sharing. The Regulators Forum debuted in 2025 as a small introductory summit but is being expanded in 2026.
In issuing the formal PAGCOR endorsement for the IAG EXPO, PAGCOR’s Chairman and CEO, Alejandro H. Tengco, acknowledged IAG’s role in supporting and covering the legal, regulated gaming industry in the Philippines and across the broader Asia-Pacific region since its establishment in 2005.
“Over the past 21 years, IAG has firmly positioned itself as the leading and most respected media authority on the land-based gaming sector in the region,” Tengco said.
“Its credibility, influence and consistent dedication to high-quality industry coverage have made IAG a key force in convening premier events, including the IAG EXPO.”
The Chairman added IAG “holds a unique and influential position within the Asian gaming landscape. Founded in Asia, it has evolved over the past two decades into far more than a media brand or an events organization.
“Today, IAG serves as a unifying platform that brings together global leaders and key industry stakeholders, with a particular emphasis on the Philippines. Through its thought leadership and convening power, IAG plays a pivotal role in shaping the industry narrative and advancing important discussions on growth, innovation, and the sustainable development of our sector.”
Tengco noted that hosting the IAG EXPO underscores the Philippines’ position as a premier destination for business, partnership and excellence.
“We fully support the IAG EXPO, as it aligns seamlessly with PAGCOR’s longstanding commitment to promoting the growth and sustainable development of the Philippine regulated gaming industry,” he said.
IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott said, “We are grateful for Chairman Tengco’s strong affirmation of the IAG EXPO and recognize the significant strides he has driven across the industry in the last 12 months. His thoughtful, progressive leadership is advancing long-term sustainability and playing a transformative role in strengthening the Philippines’ nation-building efforts.
“IAG is dedicated to establishing the IAG EXPO as the premier annual B2B gaming festival for the Asia-Pacific region. Manila is the ideal home for this event, and we look forward to growing it for many years, and even decades, to come.”
