Since the start of the Lunar New Year holiday in mainland China on 15 February, the total number of visitors to Macau over seven days has reached approximately 1,212,934, with an average daily visitor count of around 173,000.

According to the Public Security Police Force, Macau recorded a total of 769,000 border crossings on Saturday (the fifth day of the Lunar New Year), including approximately 214,000 inbound visitors – the third straight day with more than 200,000 arrivals.

Combined with the 998,934 visitors over the past six days, the total number of visitors during the seven-day Lunar New Year period has exceeded 1.2 million.

On Thursday, the third day of the Lunar New Year, Macau experienced the peak of the Lunar New Year Golden Week, with 227,943 visitors entering the city in a single day, setting a new all-time high record for single-day visitor arrivals in Macau.
