South Korea’s Paradise Co saw its casino revenue soar to KRW94.3 billion (US$65.3 million) in January, representing a 31.4% year-on-year and 26.7% quarter-on-quarter improvement.
However, the company may have played lucky given that casino drop of KRW632.6 billion (US$438 million) was only 9.2% higher than the same month in 2025.
January’s result included a 32.9% year-on-year and 29.6% sequential increase in table games revenue to KRW89.2 billion (US$61.8 million), while machine revenue was up 9.4% versus January 2024 at KRW5.09 billion (US$3.53 million). This was down 8.8% on December.
The company recently reported total casino revenue of KRW900.5 billion (US$623 million) in FY25, representing a 9.9% increase compared with 2024.
Paradise operates three casinos in Seoul, Busan and Jeju as well as holding a controlling 55% stake in Incheon integrated resort Paradise City – a joint venture with Japan’s Sega Sammy Holdings.
