Solaire operator Bloomberry Resorts Corp has launched a suite of new games for its online arm megaFUNalo! featuring uniquely localized content aimed at differentiating itself from illegal offshore competitors.
According to a report by The Manila Bulletin, Gioco Arcade debuted on the platform this week, featuring games designed with Philippine cultural motifs that resonate with its domestic Filipino audience.
These include “Jeepney Go”, which leans into the country’s famous public transport vehicles, and “Cash Cash Fiesta” featuring imagery associated with provincial street festivals. Two more titles, “Tuktuk Gold” and “Slice n Go”, will be launched in the near future.
The Manila Bulletin explained that the Gioco Arcade suite of games is “an attempt to bridge the gap between high-tech digital entertainment and traditional Filipino sensibilities” as per comments from Solaire’s Executive Vice President and Head of Gaming, Cyrus Sherafat.
megaFUNalo! will, Sherefat added, look to champion homegrown creative expression as a unique trademark of the brand while providing an attractive option for domestic customers within the Philippines’ regulated framework to the proliferation of illegal offshore platforms.
The majority of the Philippines’ integrated resort operators have recently launched licensed online platforms under PAGCOR’s eGames framework as a means of expanding their reach and providing an alternative revenue source to their traditional land-based offering.
As reported by IAG, the Philippines’ land-based casinos suffered a .2% year-on-year decline in gaming revenues in 3Q25 while eGames saw 17.4% growth in the same period.
