Macau’s SJM Resorts, S.A. says it has received necessary approvals from the Macao SAR Government to directly manage and operate Casino L’Arc Macau after completing acquisition of the entire issued share capital of the property’s parent company, Arc of Triumph Development Company Limited.

Direct operations of the former satellite casino will commence from 2am next Tuesday 30 December 2025, it added.

In an announcement, SJM said the acquisition will further strengthen its presence in the Macau Peninsula’s most concentrated and high-performing entertainment and hospitality cluster, describing L’Arc Hotel as a well-established hospitality property.

With a gross floor area of approximately 86,438 square metres, L’Arc comprises hotel accommodation, food and beverage outlets, retail and the premises of Casino L’Arc Macau.

SJM completed the acquisition on 17 December and has already taken over the integrated operations of L’Arc Hotel.

The acquisition follows a decision by the Macau government to require the cessation of all satellite casino operations by the end of this year. SJM had pondered full acquiring two satellite casinos operating under its concession – L’Arc and Ponte 16 – but ultimately decided to follow-through with L’Arc alone.
