Global gaming supplier Light & Wonder will focus on hardware at next week’s Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, with the company outlining plans to unveil its latest slot machines cabinet “LightWave” plus for new hardware innovations.

In a preview announcement, Light & Wonder said its hardware innovations are designed to “elevate the player experience, expand operator flexibility and build on the success of its proven franchises” while the new LightWave cabinet is described as a state-of-the-art casino slot machine that features a unique multi-plane canvas.

“Our mission is to create the world’s best games and G2E is where we bring that vision to life,” said Matt Wilson, President and CEO of Light & Wonder.

“LightWave and our new cabinets are more than new hardware – they’re new ways to play, creating immersive experiences that captivate players and give our customers the tools to shape the future of the casino floor. Every product in our booth reflects our goal of delivering the world’s best gaming experiences.”

According to the company, LightWave offers a full-length, bank-wide visual display that seamlessly integrates machine-mounted LCD screens with high-resolution micro-LED surrounds. The synchronized displays merge into a single, dynamic canvas that extends far beyond one machine, creating a cross-bank immersive experience that can be seen from across the casino floor.

The new cabinet is launching with five new titles including “Frankenstien Returns”, Jackpot Party VIP Disco”, “Dancing Drums Revolution”, “Ultimate Fire Link Cash Falls Explosion” and “Visitors from the Planet Moolah”.

Also on show will be the new Cosmic Dual cabinet featuring dual 27-inch HD displays and an optional topper, designed for universal placement across global markets. Dual tower platform Cosmic Sky will also be unveiled, featuring dual stacked 55-inch Ultra HD curved displays and a Cosmic lighting silhouette paired with modern MLED bank packaging and a new iDECK player interface that combine to create an immersive player experience.

Another product making its G2E debut is the Landmark 7000 Jackpot Wheel which integrates a new dynamic top box wheel while maintaining stepper familiarity. Launch titles include Universal Pictures’ “Frankenstein” and “The Mummy” – representing the first-ever use of the Universal Monsters franchise in the stepper category.

Other products on display at G2E will include a variety of table game and ETG solutions, next generation systems innovations and substantial iGaming content.
