Macau’s Galaxy Entertainment Group said Monday it will grant a salary increase to around 98% of its staff, effective from 1 April 2024.

According to a statement, the salary increase will apply to eligible team members who joined the company before 1 January 2024, with those on a monthly base salary plus guaranteed tips of MOP$16,000 or below to receive a MOP$600 monthly increase while those sitting above MOP$16,000 will receive a 2.5% salary increase.

“GEG would like to thank all its team members for their efforts and contributions in the past year and looks forward to working together with them to achieve another success,” the company said.

GEG is the third concessionaire to announce a pay rise for staff, with both Sands China and Melco Resorts having also done so earlier this month.
