The AGEM Index – a monthly stock performance guide comprising 12 global gaming suppliers – increased by 7.7% or 77.65 points to 1,089.00 points in November, with Aristocrat and Light & Wonder providing the largest positive contributions.

The index was also 20.2% or 183.05 points higher compared with the same month in 2022, with seven of the 12 AGEM Index companies reporting month-on-month stock price increases.

The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), which compiles the index, said the largest positive contributor to the index in November was Aristocrat, which saw a 5.4% increase in stock price – leading to a 39.01-point gain to the index.

Light & Wonder also saw its stock price grow by 20.9%, leading to a 38.09-point increase.

According to AGEM, the largest negative contribution to the index was from Konami Corp, whose 5.7% decline in stock price resulted in a 5.26-point loss to the AGEM Index.

All three major US stock indices increased in November 2023, with the NASDAQ up by 10.7% over the month, while the S&P 500 grew by 8.9% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average by 8.8% from the prior month.
