Melco Resorts & Entertainment has announced it will open its €550 million Cyprus integrated resort, City of Dreams Mediterranean, on Monday 10 July 2023.

“We are thrilled to finally open the doors of City of Dreams Mediterranean to our valued guests,” said the property’s General Manager, Grant Johnson.

“A landmark project and our first venture in Europe, it will bring Melco’s award-wining standards of entertainment and leisure and welcome innovation to Cyprus’ luxury hotel scene. We look forward to captivating our guests with contemporary design, first-class entertainment and immersive experiences.”

Located in the heart of Limassol, City of Dreams Mediterranean is described as the first true integrated resort in Europe, comprising a 7,500-square meter casino with Platinum Club for VIP members, fine dining restaurants, various entertainment options, the largest expo center in Cyprus and hotel offering 500 rooms and suites.

All rooms feature private balconies with views over the Akrotiri Salt Lake, the Troodos Mountain range and the Lady’s Mile Beach, Melco said.

The property’s eight restaurants and bars, led by Executive Chef Olivier Belliard, include Pan-Asian fusion at Amber Dragon, Middle Eastern at Aura, European contemporary at Anaïs and authentic Mediterranean at Oléa, among others.

There is also a resort pool complex with an Adventure Park, zip line, trampoline zone and Waverider attraction, while Renu Spa & Fitness is said to be influenced by Morpheus Spa in City of Dreams Macau.
