Bill Miller named new boss of American Gaming Association
Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The American Gaming Association has named Bill Miller as its next President and CEO.

Taking over from Geoff Freeman, who stepped down from the role in August after five years, Miller brings more than 30 years of experience representing membership organisations similar to the AGA in Washington.

He is currently Senior Vice President of the Business Roundtable, an association of chief executive officers of leading US corporations for whom he has been responsible for overseeing the association’s administration and outreach to Capitol Hill for the past six-and-a-half-years.

He previously worked for international corporate communications firm Brunswick, leading the US Chamber of Commerce’s Political Affairs and Federal Relations efforts and serving as the business federation’s National Political Director, overseeing its legislative, advocacy and lobbying tactics. He coordinated and executed political and grassroots operations and implemented lobbying campaigns on many of the top issues facing the business community during his 12 years at the Chamber, the AGA said.

Miller officially steps into the AGA’s top job on 14 January 2019.
