G2E Asia and Inside Asian Gaming present our series introducing the judges for the inaugural official G2E Asia Awards, to be held in the Ballroom at MGM Cotai on Tuesday 15 May 2018.

Raymond Chan co-founded TGG, a network of innovative gaming ideas to bring fun for the Asian emerging mass market by harnessing the casino operators and game designers worldwide. Inside Asian Gaming quoted TGG in 2017 as the “Platform to Success”, phrasing TGG as the network orchestrator of the land-based electronic gaming market and crediting Mr Chan among the gaming industry’s ” Ones to Watch” in its 2017 Asian Gaming Power 50 listing in December.

Mr Chan is a 20-year technology management veteran. He began his career in Silicon Valley with tech-savvy companies including E*Trade Financial and TiVo Technology. Prior to founding TGG, Mr Chan was the director in Asia for Global Gaming Group, a US-based gaming technology company where he played a leading role in market development and product innovations.

Mr Chan earned his Engineering and Management Science degree at the University of Waterloo in Canada. He is also devoted to the development of Ice Hockey in China. He was named “Referee of the Year” by Hong Kong’s HKAHC for his contribution to the sport in 2011.
