MACAU, China (April 28, 2009) – ATRONIC is taking new steps to ensure its Asian clients enjoy continued success in this challenging economic climate.  Renowned for high-quality gaming and systems products as well as outstanding service, ATRONIC is committed to providing supreme solutions to the entire Asian continent to help operators adapt to their changing business models.

For more than seven years, ATRONIC has enjoyed a strong presence in the Asian market through its distribution agreement with RGB, a well-recognized regional gaming distributor. In 2006, ATRONIC boosted its local presence with direct representation in Macau.

Mr. Lai Fai Chiang joined the ATRONIC team in Asia in March of this year as ATRONIC´s General Manager for Asia, replacing Mr. Zane Reynolds.

Mr. Chiang, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce with a major in Accounting and Finance, was with RGB from 2004 to early 2009, most recently as the company´s General Manager, Sales. With his sales team of 10 people, he covered Asia with products including slot machines, signage, table layouts, table equipment, licensed games, playing chips, and playing cards. Now, at ATRONIC, Mr. Chiang is being supported by Mr. Tham Truong, ATRONIC´s Technical Product Manager for Asia who also has extensive experience in the gaming industry from his previous role at Aristocrat. ATRONIC trusts that Mr. Chiang´s and Mr. Truong´s detailed knowledge and understanding of the Asian gaming market and its unique needs will be beneficial to their clients in the region.

On the product side, ATRONIC has been working with Asian operators on player focus groups to develop a deeper understanding of the playing behaviour of Asian players. The findings of such focus groups are directly funnelled to ATRONIC´s game design teams to accommodate the unique preferences of Asian players. As well, for some time now, ATRONIC has been releasing Asian-themed games with simplified Chinese as the language on screen and button panels.

In addition to its comprehensive library of proven games and successful linked gaming concepts, ATRONIC is offering a wide range of systems solutions including CRYSTAL.net™, the new evolution for casino management floor network, maximising revenues and streamlining casino operations.

The comprehensive GALAXIS™ family of Bonusing Solutions creates player excitement on the floor while the highly successful chip cash™ smart card solution and the new qpon cash™ ticketing solution demonstrate ATRONIC´s leading position as cashless solutions provider.

Suited well for the Asian gaming market, ATRONIC´s Systems Division also offers a range of proven, modular and scalable Table Management Solutions supporting all types of table games.

To learn more about ATRONIC’s gaming solutions for the Asian market, contact Mr. Mr. Lai Fai Chiang at (tel) +6012-211-8622, or by e-mail at lfchiang@atronic.com.
