At least six global casino operators will be on site promoting their IR expertise when the IR Gaming Expo 2019 opens in Osaka today.
Galaxy Entertainment Group, Suncity Group, MGM Resorts with Orix, Las Vegas Sands, Melco Resorts & Entertainment and Genting Singapore are confirmed attendees for IR Gaming Expo 2019, which runs until Sunday, while Inside Asian Gaming will also boast a heavy presence on the exhibition floor in its role as Lead Media Partner.
It was recently revealed that Galaxy, MGM and Genting are all taking part in Osaka’s RFC process with the city a hot favorite to win one of Japan’s three IR licenses on offer. Las Vegas Sands and Melco recently revealed that they would not pursue an IR license in Osaka, targeting Yokohama instead, while Suncity Group is looking to open an IR in Wakayama.
The IR Gaming Expo is part of Tourism Expo Japan.
